Windows is a story that follows two female police officers working together for the first time, who must set aside their differences and face the reality of everyday life in Boyle Heights. The film deals with police brutality from various angles, gun violence and minors’ exposure to it, cultural heritage that enriches lives and connect people, immigrant expecience, loss of loved ones, and bond between mother and child.
